RED RIBBON CELEBRATION 2008

Redribbon October 2006 During the month of October 2008, schools and communities throughout California will be participating in this year's Red Ribbon Week, celebrating the theme:
BTW...R U LIVIN UR NATRL HI.

The purpose of Red Ribbon Month is to educate parents and caregivers on the importance of having regular, ongoing communication with their children about the risks of alcohol and drugs and to encourage the benefits of a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.

To support the Red Ribbon celebration, a group of government, education, private and non-profit, anti-drug organizations, and all members of The California Red Ribbon Coalition have created useful materials to arm parents, caregivers and educators with the tools necessary to help children of all ages reject drug use and choose a drug-free future.
